Tasting Notes
Fragrant hints of fruit, floral essence, and buttered toast on the nose. In the glass is a balanced array of light oak, soft citrus, and lingering touches of pear. A chardonnay unlike any other. It is a refreshing favorite, with each sip leading into the next.
Winemaking Notes
A departure in style from our 2005 vintage, we only oaked this wine for a short time, thereby highlighting the fruit. The balance in acidity, the pear, pineapple and banana present throughout the palette in this wine all may throw you. It is Chardonnay as you rarely find it. Perfect with light seafood dishes and cold soups. Enjoy it.
