Burns started his Revelry Vintners in 2006 specifically to capitalize on boxed wines. Revelry sold 3,500 cases of boxed wine last year, and Burns hopes to triple that this year. The company's boxed wines can now be found at grocery and wine stores and a number of restaurants.

My favorite of the Revelry wines is the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon, which won a Double Gold medal at the 2007 Wine Press Northwest Platinum Tasting. With a touch of Cabernet Franc and an infusion of vanilla and spice from the oak barrels it was aged in, this Cab is layered with berries and fruit.
